Terms & Conditions – Waiata Shores Dental “Smile to Samoa” Sweepstakes

1. Promoter
This competition is run by Waiata Shores Dental, 7/2 Te Napi Drive, Takanini, Auckland, New Zealand.

2. Eligibility

• Entry is open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents aged 18+.

• Entrants must hold (or be eligible to hold) a valid New Zealand passport for international travel.

• Employees of Waiata Shores Dental, their immediate families, and affiliates are not eligible.

• To be eligible, entrants must first register via the official SweepWidget link and complete all mandatory sign-up steps.

3. Promotion Period

• Competition opens on 15 September 2025, 12:00 AM and closes at 11:59 PM on 31 October 2025.

• Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

4. How to Earn Points
Participants earn points between 15 Sept – 31 Oct 2025:

Appointments:

• Exams, Consults, Teeth Cleans = 1 point

• Fillings, Extractions, Root Canal = 2 points

• Night Splints, Teeth Whitening, Dentures = 3 points

• Crowns, Bridges, Veneers, Sedation, SureSmile = 5 points

Online Engagement:

• Like / Follow / Share / Comment on WSD’s Facebook or Instagram = 1 point

• Google Review (posted during promo period) = 2 points

• Refer a Friend (after their first appointment) = 3 points

Conditions:

• Only new activity during the promo period counts (existing likes/follows before 15 Sept do not count unless registered in SweepWidget).

• No points are awarded for tagging friends.

• Referrals are verified once the new patient attends their first appointment.

• Points are awarded at the sole discretion of Waiata Shores Dental. Fraudulent activity (fake accounts, duplicate referrals, false reviews) will result in disqualification.

5. Prizes

• Grand Prize: One winner will receive a 4-night accommodation stay for two adults at Saletoga Sands Resort & Spa, Samoa.

  • Prize includes accommodation only. Flights, meals, transfers, insurance, visas, and personal expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

  • Travel valid February – September 2026, subject to availability. Preferred dates may not be available. If no suitable dates are available, the prize is forfeited with no compensation.

• Bonus Prizes (Unlocked if Milestones Reached):

  • If Waiata Shores Dental Facebook page reaches 1,500 likes by 31 October 2025 → One Free Whitening Kitwill be drawn among all registered entrants.

  • If Instagram reaches 1,000 followers by 31 October 2025 → One Free Hygiene Visit Voucher will be drawn among all registered entrants.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

• At the close of the competition, the top scoring participants will go into a prize draw.

• The grand prize winner (Samoa trip) and any bonus prize winners (if unlocked) will be drawn randomly.

• Leaderboard standings will be visible via SweepWidget and updated weekly on Waiata Shores Dental’s social media.

• Winners will be announced on 7 November 2025 via Waiata Shores Dental’s Facebook & Instagram Live and contacted by phone/email.

• Prizes must be claimed within 48 hours of notification and booked no later than 21 November 2025. If unclaimed, the prize will be forfeited and may be redrawn.

7. Publicity
By entering, participants agree to allow Waiata Shores Dental to use their name, photo, and likeness in promotional material without compensation.

8. General Conditions

• All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• Waiata Shores Dental may substitute prizes with alternatives of equal or greater value if circumstances require.

• Waiata Shores Dental reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if necessary.

• Entrants release Waiata Shores Dental, its staff, and affiliates from any liability arising from participation or acceptance of prizes.

• Entrants are responsible for passports, visas, travel insurance, and meeting travel requirements.

• Waiata Shores Dental is not responsible for travel restrictions, border closures, or unforeseen events that may impact prize redemption.

9. Privacy

• Entrant details will be collected via SweepWidget for the purpose of administering this competition.

• By entering, participants agree to receive promotional communications from Waiata Shores Dental. Entrants may opt out of promotional communications at any time.

10. Compliance
This promotion complies with the New Zealand Gambling Act 2003 as a promotional competition and does not require licensing.

11. Final Decision
All decisions by Waiata Shores Dental regarding the competition, eligibility, point allocation, and prize draws are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
