Terms & Conditions – Waiata Shores Dental “Smile to Samoa” Sweepstakes

1. Promoter
This competition is run by Waiata Shores Dental, 7/2 Te Napi Drive, Takanini, Auckland, New Zealand.

2. Eligibility

• Entry is open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents aged 18 or over.

• A valid New Zealand passport (or the ability to obtain one) is required for international travel.

• Employees of Waiata Shores Dental, their immediate families, and affiliates are not eligible.

• To be eligible, entrants must first register via the official SweepWidget link and complete the mandatory sign-up steps.

3. Promotion Period

• Competition opens on 15 September 2025 and closes at 11:59 PM on 31 October 2025.

• Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

4. How to Earn Points
Participants earn points through the following activities (15 Sept – 31 Oct 2025):

Appointments:

• Exams, Consults, Teeth Cleans = 1 point

• Fillings, Extractions, Root Canal = 2 points

• Night Splints, Teeth Whitening, Dentures = 3 points

• Crowns, Bridges, Veneers, Sedation, SureSmile = 5 points

Online Engagement:

• Like / Follow / Share / Comment on WSD’s Facebook or Instagram = 1 point

• Google Review (posted during promo period) = 2 points

• Refer a Friend (after their first appointment) = 3 points

Conditions:

• Only new activity during the promo period counts (existing likes/follows before 15 Sept do not count unless registered in SweepWidget).

• No points are awarded for friend tagging; only referrals via SweepWidget and confirmed patient attendance count.

• Points are awarded at the sole discretion of Waiata Shores Dental and verified via SweepWidget.

• Fraudulent activity (fake accounts, duplicate referrals, false reviews) will result in disqualification.

5. Prize

• One winner will receive a 4-night accommodation stay for two adults at Saletoga Sands Resort & Spa, Samoa.

• Prize includes accommodation only. Flights, meals, transfers, insurance, visas, and personal expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

• Prize valid for travel between February – September 2026, subject to resort availability. Preferred dates may not be available. If no suitable dates are available, the prize is forfeited with no compensation.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

• At the close of the competition, the top scoring participants will go into a prize draw.

• One winner will be drawn at random from this group.

• Winner will be announced on 7th November 2025 via Waiata Shores Dental’s Facebook & Instagram Live and contacted by phone/email.

• Prize must be claimed within 48 hours of notification and booked no later than 21 November 2025. If unclaimed, the prize will be forfeited and may be redrawn.

7. Publicity
By entering, participants agree to allow Waiata Shores Dental to use their name, photo, and likeness in promotional materials without further compensation.

8. General Conditions

• Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative products/services.

• Waiata Shores Dental may substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if circumstances require.

• Waiata Shores Dental reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if unforeseen circumstances arise.

• Entrants release Waiata Shores Dental, its employees, and affiliates from any liability for loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.

• Entrants are responsible for arranging their own passports, visas, travel insurance, and meeting all travel requirements.

9. Compliance
This promotion complies with the New Zealand Gambling Act 2003 and is classified as a promotional competition that does not require licensing.

10. Final Decision
All decisions by Waiata Shores Dental relating to the competition, eligibility, and point allocation are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
